Power take-off

Switching on the function

With the vehicle stopped, the engine idling and the gearbox in neutral:
  • press the clutch pedal;
  • press the switch 1. The warning light illuminates on the switch 1;
  • release the clutch pedal. The idle speed increases to 1200 rpm.
Operating faults
If the warning light built into the switch 1does not illuminate and the power-take off is not triggered:
  • with the clutch pedal depressed, press the switch 1 and release the clutch pedal then start the procedure again;
  • or release the clutch pedal gradually.
Tip
When the power take-off is engaged, do not change gear. If it becomes necessary to change gear, you must first disconnect the power take-off.

Switching off the function

  • Press the clutch pedal;
  • press the switch 1. The warning light built into the switch 1 goes out after approximately two seconds.
