“Driving assistance” menu

From the main menu, press “Settings”, then press the “Vehicle” tab. This menu enables you to set up the driving aids.

2 “Traffic sign”;

3 Lane;

4 Blind spot;

5 “Pop-up menu”;

6 “Back to previous page”;

7 “Fatigue”;

8 “Active braking” or “Advanced Safety”, depending on the vehicle;

9 “Following distance”.

“Display mode”

When you select a view mode 1, you can choose interactive mode 10 or list mode 11 which allows you to view all “Driving assistance”.

Select the button for the option you would like to activate or deactivate.

Some settings have to be modified while the engine is running in order for them to be stored by the multimedia system.

For safety reasons, carry out these operations when the vehicle is stationary.

“Traffic sign”

This function assists you during your journeys, informing you of the speed limit in place, high-risk areas and hazard areas using:

- a display on the multimedia screen and the instrument panel;

- an audible warning.

“Traffic signs”

This function enables you to select the information that you wish to receive. Select “ON” to activate the system.

“Overspeed sound alert”

This function detects any speed limit excess and warns the driver by displaying a warning on the instrument panel along with a sound warning. Select “ONˮ to activate this function.

Note: you cannot activate the speed limit sound warning if the speed limit warning is deactivated.

“Risk area display”

This function notifies the driver via the instrument panel when they enter a hazard area or a high-risk area. Select “ONˮ to activate this function.

Note: services must be activated in order to display the risk areas. Please see the section entitled “Activating services”.

“Risk area sound alert”

This function notifies the driver via a sound warning when they enter a hazard area or a high-risk area.

Select “ON” to activate this function.

Note: if “Risk area display” is deactivated, the “Risk area sound alert” function is automatically deactivated.

“Fatigue”

This function detects any reduction in the driver’s reactivity. It takes into account sudden and random movements on the steering wheel, the frequency of the lane departure warning and non-stop driving over two hours.

This function notifies the driver via a sound warning and by displaying a warning message on the instrument panel advising the driver to take a break.

Select “ONˮ to activate the system. For further information, please refer to the “Fatigue detection warningˮ section in the vehicle user manual.

“Lane” (Lane assist settings)

This system notifies the driver when they accidentally cross a continuous or broken line.

You can adjust the intensity of the steering wheel vibrations (or audible warning volume, depending on equipment), as well as the sensitivity of the lane departure warning.

“Active braking”

“Active braking”: this function notifies the driver if there is a risk of collision. Select “ON” to activate this function. You can select the “Active braking“ warning sensitivity as required:

- “Early”;

- “Standard”;

- “Late”.

“Advanced Safety”

(depending on equipment)

This system consists of the following functions:

- “Active braking”;

- “Emergency Lane Keep Assist”: this function alerts and corrects the trajectory of the vehicle in the event of:

- a roadside is breached;

- there is a risk of collision with a vehicle coming from the opposite direction in an adjacent lane;

- there is a risk of collision with a vehicle in the blind spot area (depending on the equipment).

For safety reasons, carry out these operations when the vehicle is stationary.

“Blind spot alert”

This function notifies the driver when another vehicle is in their blind spot. Select “ONˮ to activate this function. For further information, please refer to the “Blind spot warningˮ section in the vehicle user manual.

“Following distance”

This function notifies the driver if they are too close to another vehicle. Select “ONˮ to activate this function. For further information, please refer to the “Safe distance alertˮ section in the vehicle user manual.

Pop-up menu

From the 5 pop-up menu, you can reset the default settings for each menu.
