“Driving assistance” menu

Introduction

The vehicle is equipped with driving aids that offer additional assistance when driving your vehicle.

Please refer to the vehicle user manual for further information.

Note: some “Driving assistance” settings are available while the vehicle is stationary.

Accessing “Driving assistance”

From the menu bar, select the “Vehicle” mode A, then select “Driving assistance” B.

1 “Predictive Eco assistant*”;

2 “Following distance”;

3 “Blind spot warning”;

4 “Driver monitoring alert”;

5 “Lane keeping system”;

6 “Speed management”;

7 “Advanced safety”.

Note: the feature is activated when the activate/deactivate button is highlighted.

Some driving aid services are only available by subscription and accessible during a defined time period. You can extend your subscription period from the www.myrenault.com site.

Some settings have to be modified while the engine is on in order for them to be stored by the multimedia system.

For safety reasons, carry out any adjustments while the vehicle is stationary.

“Predictive Eco assistant*” 1

This feature advises the driver so that they can adopt an ECO driving mode.

“Following distance” 2

This function notifies the driver if they are too close to another vehicle. Select 2 to activate this function, then the 8 icon will appear.

“Blind spot warning” 3

This function notifies the driver when another vehicle is in their blind spot. Select 3 to activate this function, then the 10 icon will appear.

“Driver monitoring alert” 4

This function detects any reduction in the driver's responsiveness. It takes into account:

- sudden and random movement of the steering wheel;

- frequent activation of the Lane Keeping Assist warning.

This function gives the driver via a sound warning and displays a warning message on the instrument panel advising the driver to take a break.

Select 4 to activate this system, then the 9 icon will appear.

“Lane keeping system” 5

From this menu you can activate/deactivate the following features:

- “Lane departure warning”;

- “Lane departure prevention”;

For further information, please refer to the “Lane departure prevention” section in your vehicle user manual.

- “Lane centering assist.”.

For further information, please refer to the “Active Driver Assist” section in your vehicle user manual.

You can adjust the sensitivity level for continuous or broken line detection:

- “Early”;

- “Standard”;

- “Late”.

You can also adjust the intensity of the steering wheel vibrations (or the audible warning volume, depending on equipment), as well as the sensitivity of the lane departure warning.

Activate/deactivate the function by pressing the control in your vehicle.

“Speed management” 6

From this menu you can activate/deactivate the following features:

- “Adjust speed limitations”;

- adapting to “To speed limitations”;

- adapting to “To road context”.

After activating “Adjust speed limitations”, you can adjust the difference between the speed limit and the warning trigger. This setting also allows you to set the difference from the speed limit when adjusting the speed automatically or manually. Touch the screen at 11, then slide your finger upwards or downwards to change the difference speed.

“Advanced safety” 7

From this menu you can activate/deactivate the “Advanced safety” function by pressing 7. You can also choose the sensitivity of the warning trigger:

- “Early”;

- “Standard”;

- “Late”.
