“Electric vehicle” menu

From the “Vehicle” mode, you can access the “Electric vehicle” menu.

You can use this menu to view and set the functions related to your hybrid or electric vehicle.

From the “Electric vehicle” menu, you access the following tabs:

- “Energy”;

- “Charge & Climate”;

- “Battery”;

- “Settings”.

The availability of some features depends on the vehicle type (electric or hybrid).

Some settings are only available while the vehicle is stationary.

“Energy”

From the “Energy” tab 1, the multimedia system enables you to view the vehicle’s energy flows.

To view the vehicle’s energy consumption, press the “Consumption” button 2.

Note: information may vary, depending on the vehicle’s engine (electric or hybrid).

“Consumption”

You can view the “Consumption: dynamic monitoring” in the form of a graph showing the vehicle’s average energy consumption per minute over the last 30 minutes of driving.

Note: depending on the multimedia screen, additional information is shown below the graphic.

For safety reasons, carry out these operations when the vehicle is stationary.

“Charge & Climate”

From the “Charge & Climate” tab, you can configure your vehicle comfort and charging programme:

- “Instant charge” 3;

- “Delayed charge” 4;

- “Program” 5.

Note: charging will start if the engine is shut down and the vehicle is connected to a power supply and access is authorised. For more information, please refer to the hybrid vehicle or charging system information in your vehicle user manual.

“Instant charge” 3

Once your vehicle is connected to a power source, charging starts.

Note: if delayed or programmed charging is selected, it is still possible to start immediate charging. For further information on immediate charging, please refer to the “Electric vehicle: charging” section in the vehicle user manual.

“Delayed charge” 4

Even though your vehicle is connected to a power source, you can set the start time for charging over the next 24 hours.

Press “Delayed charge” 4 to open the settings to set the start time for charging.

Set the start time for charging then press “Save” to confirm.

Note: once the deferred charging has been carried out, the programme automatically returns to “Instant charge”.

“Program” 5

You can save several programmed comfort and charging times per week.

To add a programme, press “Add”.

You can configure the following:

- the 6 charging start and end time;

- “Options“ 7;

- the comfort temperature 8;

- the days of the week 9 for which you wish to apply the programme.

Setting the time 8

Set the charging start 10 and end 11 time, then press “Save” to confirm.

Note:

- if the start and end times are identical, the charging period is 24 hours;

- you cannot confirm a charging programme if you do not select a day of the week.

Comfort setting 8

(depending on equipment)

Adjust the comfort temperatures:

- of the passenger compartment 12;

- of the heated seats 13;

- of the heated steering wheel 14.

Press “Save” to confirm.

Setting the days 9

Select the days 9 for which you wish to apply these hours.

When the day is highlighted, this indicates that it is selected.

Press “Save” to confirm.

For safety reasons, carry out these operations when the vehicle is stationary.

“My programmes”

From the A list, you can see an overview of all the active charging and comfort programmes.

Press one of the programmes to view, modify or delete.

You can delete a programme by pressing the 15 trash icon for the programme to be deleted.

“Battery”

From the “Battery” tab 16, you can set the maximum battery charge level for your vehicle.

“Settings”

Use the “Settings” tab 17 to access the following settings:

- “Pedestrian warning sound”;

- “Predictive hybrid”.

“Pedestrian warning sound”

When driving, you can choose the sound of the pedestrian horn to warn other road users, especially pedestrians and cyclists, of your presence.

For further information on the pedestrian horn, please refer to the “Electric vehicle” section in the vehicle user manual.

“Predictive hybrid”

You can activate/deactivate the “EV City” function for hybrid vehicles which gives priority to electric driving when driving in urban areas.

Note: this function is only available by subscription and is accessible during a defined time period. You can extend your subscription period from your “My Renault” account.
