Introduction

The vehicle is equipped with parking aids that offer additional assistance during parking manoeuvres.

Depending on the equipment, from the “Vehicle” world A, you can access the parking aid menus:

- “Parking assistance”;

- “Hands-free Park Assist”;

- “Automated Park Assist”.

Please refer to the vehicle user manual for further information.

The “Hands-free Park Assist” and “Automated Park Assist” functions assist you in parking manoeuvres by taking control of the steering wheel, the brakes, the engine and the gear lever.

Throughout the manoeuvre, you must put pressure on the accelerator pedal (to keep the function working) and take your hands off the steering wheel.

You can take back control of the vehicle at any time by:

- turning the steering wheel;

- releasing the accelerator pedal;

- or by pressing the brake pedal.

These functions provide additional driving aids.

Therefore, under no circumstances can they replace the driver's vigilance and responsibility during manoeuvres (the driver must always be ready to brake).

When manoeuvring, the steering wheel may turn quickly: do not put your hands inside, and make sure that nothing is caught inside.
